RGVROCKS was created for you... created for the hundreds, if not thousands of music lovers all across the RGV. Our main goal here at RGVROCKS is to be a one stop place where anyone and everyone can discover new music, learn about a new band, find places where to see them, and catch up with the band on new projects. We welcome every genre of music, bands, solo artists, d.j.'s, and everyone in between dealing with the music industry. And the best part about this is that it is absolutely FREE!!!
About Me:
I'm Robert. Some of you may already know me by my photography name, RXP. I was born and raised here in the valley, later, I spent some years in the military with the U.S. Marines in both Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, as well as traveling the world. A few years ago I returned to the valley and that's when I took my photography to another level. While shooting all over the valley and for promoters such as "Chase This Dream" and "Little Monster Production," I noticed that there wasn't a place for anyone to know where and when a band was playing, who was hosting the event, or even if there were any bands at all out there. So, I took it upon myself to create RGVROCKS. This would be where I would say, "the rest is history," but we are still creating history.. there is still so much to do. Ultimate goal is for the valley's music scene to rival that of Austin's or Dallas, Texas.
